Our work with company teams and clients is highly customized to their situation and goals, however, there are times when a methodology moves all players to greater understanding in the shortest amount of time. At those times we do operate within a proven framework, which we call, affectionately, Marketing for Mere Mortals™. This proprietary framework creates a context and common vocabulary for our work together, while providing the logic for value creation and execution tailored to the unique needs of our clients.

There are as many definitions of marketing as there are people who are willing to define it. Most people define marketing by its parts, not by the sum of its parts, and those parts are largely tactical: public relations; a brochure; an expensive print ad that runs in all the top trade publications. Still others insist that marketing is not a process but a function whose only purpose is to support sales, period.

By our definition, those are all parts of the big marketing picture and it’s important to know how those pieces fit together to achieve your goals. By seeing how the pieces all relate to one another, you can deconstruct and demystify the practice of marketing, taking it one logical step – and investment – at a time.

Our methodical and map-based approach will inform your execution and save you time and money. While we cannot eliminate the market surprises that are part of any business venture, we can at least illuminate that part of the path that you can see.
